Just Magnolia Challenge *Sketch*

Its sketch week over at the Just Magnolia Challenge and this week the challenge as been set by Jane..


My card as been made using Kraft card..and the papers are K & Co..I have stamp up Dragonfly Tilda as i have not used her in ages..I have used the new colour range Distress Inks and stickles for her wings..I have glimmer misted these delish flowers from Wildorchid crafts..

Just before I go I wanted to say I had a brilliant day at the NEC on saturday..met some really nice friendly people..I met the lovely Bev at the Hobby House Stall and what a lovely lady she is..I managed to get to all the stalls that i wanted to go to..and one of them was my favourite..yes it was the magnolia stall..and gosh i could of spent a fortune there..lol... and i must say what lovely people they are..

Spoon Full of Sugar *Bookmark*

Afternoon all..I have something different to show you today..and its a bookmark..I saw the Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge and wanted to join in with the fun..so heres mine..

I used some chocolate brown card stock to make my tag..rounded the corners using the Xcut corner punch..I used this beautiful stamp Heartstrings by Elizabeth Bell..and coloured her in using Distress Inks...

The card that I'm showing you is for Magnolia Down Under Challenge in which this week consists of a fabby sketch..


I have used Kraft card for my card base and Basic grey papers..I have used one of my new Tildas and coloured her with the new Distress Inks...I have distressed the papers and added walnut stain to the edges..I have sprayed the flowers with glimmer mist..

Just Magnolia Challenge *Easel Card*

Hello all..hope you are all well...Its another week of challenges over at Just Magnolia Challenge and this week they would like to see some Easel cards..just as well because i just love making this style of card..

I stamped my Tilda using versafine ink onto Winsor & Newton water colour paper 300gsm and used the new Tim Holz Distress Inks to colour her in.. these colours are delish..I'm enjoying trying them out at the moment..i do love using them with the magnolia stamps..

Just before I go I have received my Tickets for the Craft Show at the NEC and i cannot wait to go again..I'm going on this Saturday with my daughter..and i think we may need a bank loan..lol..I hope to see a few of you there.. :o) so i can come and say hello...ow and i have just Pre-ordered the new Magnolia magazine due out in April and i cannot wait to recieve it...

*Tent Card* Magnolia Challenge

Hiya all hope you are all ok..which brings me on to this weeks Special Monthly challenge over at Just Magnolia in which we had to make a Tent card set by Dena..

I used Kraftcard to make my Tent card..to join the card together I used the Crop-o-Dile Tool..this is an amazing little gadget..its so easy to use..I have glimmer misted the flowers..I printed the sentiment on the computer and just cut it out with one of the nesties..and know all I have to do is make a box for it and it's ready for my mom on mothers day...

PFP *Theme* Back to Nature

Hi all hope you are all well..Its a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and this week is a Theme of Back to Nature...you can use any colour promarkers for this challenge..

For my card I decided to use this fabby Digi Stamp from SoftPencil..she's adorable..think she's sprinkling some magic fairy dust on to the flower there...I used some colourcore card stock.. this is amazing along with some milton & Co papers..so very pretty..I made the flower using different sized punch's then distressed the edges..hope you like...

Pollycraft *Distressing*

Good morning to you all..Its a lovely sunny day here in the UK..and it another week of challenges over at Pollycraft and this week is Distressing week..

I have used a good old pair of sissors to rough the edges up around my papers and used Ranger Inks to distress around the papers...I have used a pollycraft digi stamp - Twiddly Wings..how cute are these...and used promarkers to colour her in...the sentiment is one from Pink Gems Designs..I have also used some stickles on her wings..
