*DigiStamp Boutique Compertition



Good morning all..what a fab morning it is..my card today is for the DigiStamp Boutique Compertiton..to make a card using any image during that month..



I have used Henry & Zoe get wed  and coloured them in using prisma pencils..added some glamour dust to her head dress and flowers..I made the card using acetate to the bottom half of the card.. punched some butterflies out of the Tonic punch..and stamped the sentiment direct onto the card layer..the sentiment i got from Whiff of Joy..I also edged to the top layer of the card using the martha stewart lace punch..

Less is More - *Acetate*





Hiya all..hope you enjoyed the sunshine today it was glorious..and for the rest of the week..well when i saw what the challenge was for the Less is More Challenge i neally died of shock..lol..yes the dreaded acetate..lol..i don't really us acetate as i'm not always sure what to do with it..

anyways heres my try..first i punched some butterflys out of the Tonic butterfly punch..i must admit i was a bit nervous at first but ay ho the acetate punched quite well..I then coloured in using a promarker and whilst still wet i sprinkled some star dust to them..then embellished with some pearls..
the sentiment i got from create with TLC which i printed straight on to the card..i don't know whether it looks like i needed to add something else to the card..seems a bit plain to me..lol..but there again it is LIM..please let me know what you think..

P.S I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you all last week for all the lovely comments i received was so chuffed..enjoy the rest of your week :)



*TeddyBo Challenge* Punch it

Hiya all..hope is all well..i,m so excited about these new bears that i found whilst surfing the net the other day,they belong to TeddyBo..i purchased a couple of the cuties..as i couldn't resit..so i'm entering my card into there TeddyBo challenge..and its Punch it...

The image i,m using is baby your a star..isn't she cute..i have coloured in using primas pencils..i punched a border from my EK success border punch along with some punched out butterflys..using the tonic punch..DP are my minds eye - Stella and Rose and to finish of i embellished with some flowers i got from wildorchild crafts..added some pearls and a touch of glamour dust to the star..the sentiment was done using my pc..

*Less is More" Focus Sentiment

Hiya all..what a lovely day it is..and yes its saturday so that means its another challenge over at Less is more..and this week is one layer focusing on the sentiment..i'm loving this challenge so much i'm addicted..lol..

I so missed out on last weeks challenge as i had computer problems..yes a big fat virus had took over it completley robbing me of all my files :( can not tell you how gutted i was..and still am.. so i have purchased the new windows 7 and i,m in the middle of putting things back..hopefully it won,t take me that long..if only i'd of saved all my digital downloads to an external hard drive.. never mind sharn't make that mistake of saving to the computer agan..

anyways i have tried something different with this card..after being inspired by the lovely chrissie.....and embossed my card using nessties with my cuttlebug..thanks chrissie! whilst the nesstie was still in place i added some chalk to the inner..added some primas blooms and pearl brads..and thats was it..simple!

the sentiment is a freebie that i got from create with TLC..

*Less is More*

Morning to you all..hope is all well..i love this new challenge blog at the moment but never really had chance to take part..so i found the time to give it a try..its sketch time at Less is More and i came up with this..my card is a DL card which i don't normally use..but i'm warming to them..lol.. I mounted some DP onto black card stock attatched to card..used the nessties to mount the butterflies that i punched out using the tonic studios butterfly punch..stamped the sentiment on to the card that i got from whiff of joy..then attatched some pearls to finish off.. hope you like :)

*Just a Mothers Day Card*

Morning all..and what a lovely morning it is.. i have made this CAS card for my mom for mothers day..


i printed the sentiment straight onto the card stock..and used the cute digi image i got from the stamp fairy .. i coloured in using primsa pencils..and applied some glamour dust to the petels..attatched some pink organza ribbon to finish of..

I'm entering this card into the papertake weekly challenge which the theme is its a girl thing (or just be girlie) well thats all from me today..thanks for stopping by..and enjoy the rest of your day..ow and enjoy the sunshine.. *Digstamp Boutique March Compertition*

hiya all..hope is all well..its time for another monthly challenge over at Digistamp Boutique..and this time not only a card to show but another candle..


I love the fresh clean look of cards these days..as i think less is more..i decided to put the flower digi stamp which is availible from Digistamp Boutique..on to a candle for my daughters new house.. which she soon nabbed..lol..
i,ve added white pearls to my card & candle which i got from wildorchid crafts..i have used prisma pencils to colour in..

*How to get your digi stamps onto candles..*

attatch some tissue paper(the ones you usually wrap gifts in) cellotape the eges to some cardstock as this acts as a backing to allow the tissue to go through your printer..make sure you have no edges of the tissue paper showing otherwise it may get jammed in your printer..i have an epson printer so i have no problem with this machine.. select your paper size you wish to print out on..i normally print my images at 4 x 6 but this is your choice..

once your image as been printed you can then colour your image in ..then carefully cut around your image leaving about 1cms.. then all that needs to be done is to attatch to your candle..

and heres the fun bit..wrap some greeseproof paper around the image then get your heatgun and gently heat the image in circular movements and you should see it change colour this process is actually adearing it to the candle..and thats it..all done :)
