A gem of a Challenge

*White on White*

afternoon all...hope is all well.. this week its white on white over at A Gem of a Challenge.. i have used the chloe stamp and coloured her in using prisma pencils..i have used my embossing folder design to create the embossed look on the front of the card..sentiment stamp from one of my many craft stores..which was 50 pence a bargain that was..i added some glamour dust to the sentiment but i'm not sure i like that effect..lol..

and heres a candle i added a stamp to a while back using the chloe stamp of course from Pink Gem Designs..i used promarkers to colour this one though..

DigiStamp Boutique Compertition

Ok this is my second post today.. shock horror..lol.. I have just made this card for my daughter who is expecting her first baby next year.. i'm entering my card into the Digistamp Boutique Compertition...

I have used blooming Emmy digi stamp availible to purchase from DigiStamp Boutique coloured with prisma pencils..butterflys are cut out of the tonic butterfly punch and embellished with a stick on pearl.. the sentiment is computer generated..

Just wanted to show you my recycled pencil caddy i made from a bisto tube which i covered in some left over scrap paper..lol..

Afternoon all, isn't it lovely today.. my card today is for A Gem of a Challenge and this week its a sketch to follow..

I have used the stamp dancing kaya from Pink Gems Designs and coloured her in with prisma pencils..my card base is kraft card.. i have used the martha stewart edge punch..my butterflys are punched from the tonic butterfly punch.. i cannot remember the name of the papers i have used as i have had them for quite a while.. flowers and pearls are from my stash..and the sentiment ticket is computer generated..

I carn't beleive how long its been since i last blogged, i guess thats because i have had a break from making cards,but i'm glad to be back in the saddle..lol.. and i must admit that i have really mist takin part in the less is more challenge.. and this week its using ribbon or buttons..

so heres my card..i have used the flower image from Digistamp Boutique coloured in with prima pencils..think i need to practice my colouring skills again.lol..i have used both ribbon and button on my card..i just wanted to show you the lastest thing that i'm into at the moment! love anything antique..lol..so i was quite happy when i made this necklace..

*DigiStamp Boutique Compertition

Good morning all..what a fab morning it is..my card today is for the DigiStamp Boutique Compertiton..to make a card using any image during that month..

I have used Henry & Zoe get wed and coloured them in using prisma pencils..added some glamour dust to her head dress and flowers..I made the card using acetate to the bottom half of the card.. punched some butterflies out of the Tonic punch..and stamped the sentiment direct onto the card layer..the sentiment i got from Whiff of Joy..I also edged to the top layer of the card using the martha stewart lace punch..

Less is More - Acetate

Hiya all..hope you enjoyed the sunshine today it was glorious..and for the rest of the week..well when i saw what the challenge was for the Less is More Challenge i neally died of shock..lol..yes the dreaded acetate..lol..i don't really us acetate as i'm not always sure what to do with it..

anyways heres my try..first i punched some butterflys out of the Tonic butterfly punch..i must admit i was a bit nervous at first but ay ho the acetate punched quite well..I then coloured in using a promarker and whilst still wet i sprinkled some star dust to them..then embellished with some pearls..
the sentiment i got from create with TLC which i printed straight on to the card..i don't know whether it looks like i needed to add something else to the card..seems a bit plain to me..lol..but there again it is LIM..please let me know what you think..

P.S I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you all last week for all the lovely comments i received was so chuffed..enjoy the rest of your week :)

TeddyBo Challenge Punch it

Hiya all..hope is all well..i,m so excited about these new bears that i found whilst surfing the net the other day,they belong to TeddyBo..i purchased a couple of the cuties..as i couldn't resit..so i'm entering my card into there TeddyBo challenge..and its Punch it...

The image i,m using is baby your a star..isn't she cute..i have coloured in using primas pencils..i punched a border from my EK success border punch along with some punched out butterflys..using the tonic punch..DP are my minds eye - Stella and Rose and to finish of i embellished with some flowers i got from wildorchild crafts..added some pearls and a touch of glamour dust to the star..the sentiment was done using my pc..

*Less is More" Focus Sentiment

Hiya all..what a lovely day it is..and yes its saturday so that means its another challenge over at Less is more..and this week is one layer focusing on the sentiment..i'm loving this challenge so much i'm addicted..lol..

I so missed out on last weeks challenge as i had computer problems..yes a big fat virus had took over it completley robbing me of all my files :( can not tell you how gutted i was..and still am.. so i have purchased the new windows 7 and i,m in the middle of putting things back..hopefully it won,t take me that long..if only i'd of saved all my digital downloads to an external hard drive.. never mind sharn't make that mistake of saving to the computer agan..

anyways i have tried something different with this card..after being inspired by the lovely chrissie.....and embossed my card using nessties with my cuttlebug..thanks chrissie! whilst the nesstie was still in place i added some chalk to the inner..added some primas blooms and pearl brads..and thats was it..simple!

the sentiment is a freebie that i got from create with TLC..

Morning to you all..hope is all well..i love this new challenge blog at the moment but never really had chance to take part..so i found the time to give it a try..its sketch time at Less is More and i came up with this..my card is a DL card which i don't normally use..but i'm warming to them..lol.. I mounted some DP onto black card stock attatched to card..used the nessties to mount the butterflies that i punched out using the tonic studios butterfly punch..stamped the sentiment on to the card that i got from whiff of joy..then attatched some pearls to finish off.. hope you like :)

Morning all..and what a lovely morning it is.. i have made this CAS card for my mom for mothers day..

i printed the sentiment straight onto the card stock..and used the cute digi image i got from the stamp fairy .. i coloured in using primsa pencils..and applied some glamour dust to the petels..attatched some pink organza ribbon to finish of..

Digstamp Boutique March Compertition

hiya all..hope is all well..its time for another monthly challenge over at Digistamp Boutique..and this time not only a card to show but another candle..

I love the fresh clean look of cards these days..as i think less is more..i decided to put the flower digi stamp which is availible from Digistamp Boutique..on to a candle for my daughters new house.. which she soon nabbed..lol..
i,ve added white pearls to my card & candle which i got from wildorchid crafts..i have used prisma pencils to colour in..

*How to get your digi stamps onto candles..*

attatch some tissue paper(the ones you usually wrap gifts in) cellotape the eges to some cardstock as this acts as a backing to allow the tissue to go through your printer..make sure you have no edges of the tissue paper showing otherwise it may get jammed in your printer..i have an epson printer so i have no problem with this machine.. select your paper size you wish to print out on..i normally print my images at 4 x 6 but this is your choice..

once your image as been printed you can then colour your image in ..then carefully cut around your image leaving about 1cms.. then all that needs to be done is to attatch to your candle..

and heres the fun bit..wrap some greeseproof paper around the image then get your heatgun and gently heat the image in circular movements and you should see it change colour this process is actually adearing it to the candle..and thats it..all done :)

The DP are a free download from Summertime Designs..and this is Jim coloured in using prisma pencils blending with sansodor..sentiment is done on the computer..

I don't normally do lots of layers as i never seem to put it together right..lol..but i really enjoyed this one..I have used one of the newley released stamps availible from LOTV..and coloured in using promarkers..the DP are a download from Kay Miller Designs..flowers are all from Wilorchid Crafts..

Dreaming of Summer Days

Hi to you all..its been a while since my last post..carn't beleive we are into february already..not had alot of time to craft these days.. but when i do i,m on a roll..lol..

anyways my card today for the gem of a challenge and they have a theme.. Ribbons & Lace..
so heres what i used...

the DP is a digi download.. printed at 300dpi onto 300grm card stock..i used the lovely chole stamp availible to buy from Pink Gems Designs and coloured in using promarkers...lace & ribbon are from my craft stash..the beautiful flowers are from wildorchid crafts..and the headpin i just added some pearl beads stuck with glue to hold them in place and then attached to my card...sentiment is from LOTV..

LOTV Challenge and Blog Hop

I cannot beleive that its been neally a month since i last posted on my blog...it'll be christmas soon before we know it..anyways i went to the NEC and found my way to the LOTV stand were i met the lovely Jacqui demonstrating..what a friendly lady she was..i did buy some of my favourite stamps and one of them was the new release stamp..best friends along with just some of the new sentiments..I must admit these stamps have got to be one of my favourites at the moment..

This weeks challenge over at LOTV is anything goes...in which they are celebrating the release of some brand new stamps with a Blog Hop *Party Girls* and *Tea & Chat* pop on over and have a look at some of the fab cards by the DT ladies..some great candy to be won along the way!!

Recycled Project

Hi crafters..hope is all well..something different today *Recycled* yes Passion for Promarkers would like to see something recycled this week..

well heres what i made..not a card..but a recycled calender for next year..i have used a backing board from a envelope that i have my stamps delivered in..covered in some old paper not sure who its by though as i have had it years..lol..i have inked the edges using distress ink..

for the topper i have used all that scraps CC Designs Digi Image and coloured her in using promarkers..and the ribbon is from the ribbon girl..the calenders are anitas do-craft..

Christmas Kisses

Hi crafters..hope is all well..cannot believe another month as passed by..were did september go..because its another monthly compertition for october over at DigiStamp Boutique..

I have used Kraft card to make my A6 card base..abit different from the usual 6 x 6 card..this card was really quick and easy to make..took me about 5 mins..which i really like..lol..

i have used the new digi collection henry & zoe xmas kiss from DigiStamp Boutique..arn't they just cute!!..coloured in using promarkers..the digital papers are sweetshoppe designs..the lovely red ribbon and button i got from the ribbon girl..and the sentiment is my own design...

Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday

...Yes its another week of WOYWW.. first of all can i just say a huge thank you to all the lovely comments from all the girls last week..if you want to play along then please visit Julia HERE and find out more..

Ok on to my messy work area..lol..theres lots going on here as you can see from the photo..the little image you can see is the new penny johnson stamps and they are just gawjuss..its been stamped onto tissue paper and ready to be coloured in..and then hopefully finds its way onto a candle that i'm making for christmas..

and here on my drawers..sounds well done it..lol..i have all my other bits un bobs..i do have a move around on here sometimes..like to make it a bit interesting to look at..

Just peeking behind the cuttlebug is a pack of colouring pencils that i bought recentley..there by STAEDTLER ergo soft and there brill..a nice soft colouring pencil..sometimes i like to just print or stamp straight onto card stock and just colour in..with promarkers you get the mess of the ink on the back..

Hiya peeps.. hope is all well..i am full of a cold this week and not up to to much crafting..but i did manage to make this handmade flower for this weeks challenge over at Passion for Promarkers

michele wanted us to have ago at making our own handmade flowers..and heres what i came up with..it is a little on the big side.. but i wanted to show you the effects on a larger scale..

I found this tutorial HERE and just had to have ago..it's quite easy really..shall be making more i think..i used the scallop nessties die..distressed the edges using ditress ink, and added a touch of glimmer mist.. i was tryin to aim for a age looking flower..stamped image - Whiff of Joy..coloured in using promarkers..

papers are MME wild asparagus..ribbon i got from a little craft farm that i found.. what a fabby little shop..the sentiment is my own design..punched out onto Kraft card and distressed with distress ink..

and heres a close up of the hand made flower..lol..hope you like..of to dose meself up again.. hopefully i shall be back tomorrow to play in WOYWW..so for know take care!!

I used this cute digi image availible from pollycraft and coloured him in using promarkers..the digi papers are from sweet shoppe designs..printed onto 300dpi card stock..

I've inked up the edges using Tim Holtz Distress Ink..layed onto Kraft card..ticket sentiment is my own design..which i was working on last week..very effective printed on to Kraft card...Poinsettias are from Wild Orchid Crafts..

Hiya peeps..hope is all well..its a little chilly here today..glad that i am in the warm..well its my first time entering the WOYWW challenge..I've always wanted to join in but thought that my workspace was such a mess you would not see anything at all..i did have a bit of a clean up before i took the pic..I'm not fortunate enough to have my own craft room so my craft rooms my dinning area of the house..lol..

anyways i have been working on some new digi christmas sentiments for my cards..and i must say there not to bad..i have been designing the circle sentiments along with the ticket ones.. as you can see in the pic..

in this picture is my draw storage for just some of my craft stuff..and i got it in the bargin corner from ikea..the jars that you see are also from ikea..great for storing buttons, ribbons, etc...and some cards that i finished last night..

I have used the lovely Bev's freebie digi gingham papers and stitched onto card stock..the digi stamp is Thomas in his pram availible from DigiStamp Boutique and coloured in using promarkers..

The lovely flowers are from wildorchid crafts..the sentiment is from Pinkgem Designs..I have also used some glamour dust on his pram..self adesive pearls are from the hobby house..

I have made this card for my sister who is due to have her baby boy soon..I have also made a keepsake box for it..

morning all..hope is all well..my card today is for the Wild Orchid Challenge..which is my first time to join in with the fun..I'm always using ther gawjuss flowers in my creations..the challenge this week is one for the girls...and they want to see something girlie..

I have used the gawjuss papers by papermania and stitched onto bazzil card stock....the stamped image is from LOTV coloured in using distress inks..

and of course the gawjuss flowers and the heart pin are from Wildorchid Crafts sprayed with diamond glimmermist..pearls are papermania and are availible from the hobbyhouse..

I have used the gawjuss toast the happy couple capella paper by basic grey..loving this paper at the moment..i have stitched onto some kraft card..I have used Tilda & Edwin from the wedding collection and coloured in using promarkers...the wedding sentiment is from the wedding sentiment collection availible from whiff of joy..

Flowers are from wild orchid crafts and the pearls are from the hobby house..the crystals i got from the magnolia stand last year at the craft show..

hello and good evening..Its another week over at Passion for ProMarkers Challenge and the theme this week is distressing..

Papers used are *Toast the happy couple *capella collection by basic grey..these are just perfect for all those weeding/anniversary cards..I have distressed the edges and added some Tim Holtz distress ink in walnut stain..i've also used some star dust stickles...

the image is a digi image availible from Pollycraft..coloured with promarkers..i have also used stickles to her dress..the flowers are wild orchid crafts..the pin i got from quixotic paperie..and the lace ribbon i got from eBay...the sentiment is part of a collection from whiff of joy...

Its theme week over at pollycraft..in which the theme is *Happy Birthday*celebrating paulas birthday..and heres my take on the challenge..I actually made this card for a friend at work...she loved it...

I have used digi papers from nitwit collections stitched onto some bazzil card stock..and this cute free digi image from pollycraft..and coloured using promarkers...I printed the sentiment directly onto the paper using the pc..

A Gem of a Challenge Sketch

Its another challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and they have a fabby sketch to follow..and because there seems to be alot of christmas cards going on in blog land i thought that i would make my first one...

I have used the lovely littlejoys digi papers from sweet shoppe designs..I have used Max & Snowman stamp availible from Pink Gems Designs and i have used promarkers for the colouring...I have also used some pastel chalks giving the effect of some sky for the background...

I punched out some snowflakes using the martha stewart snowflake punch and added some star dust stickles to them along with some gems i got from craftwork cards...

and heres the inside of my card..which i haven't got round to finishing it of yet...naughty me...well thats all from me..TFT..

I have used this USS Ark digi image from Doodle Palace.. its just so cute..and i have coloured in using pro-markers..the cute baby boy stamp is from Pink Gems Designs..the DP papers are from nanna's nursery..

I have kept the card quite crisp and simple as you can see..not added any embellishments as i didn't think it needed any...

You may have already heard that Michelle Oatman had an accident not so long ago..which left her with the loss of her right eye..to read more of Michelle's unfortunate accident please read more on her blog HERE...

A spoon full of Sugar Challenge are asking everyone to create a card in dedication for michelle and mail them off to her..I thought that it was such a nice idea that i joined in with them..

I have kept the card quite simple so that i can post it of to her safely through the post as its going all the way to the USA...you can also find michelle's address on the spoon full of sugar challenge blog..

I have used the special free donkey digi image from whimsy stamps and coloured with pro-markers..cut out using nessties...and just added some pearls..

and just to finish off..heres the inside of the card.. which holds a special note for michelle..

Hi all..hope your having a brill weekend..my card today is for Totally Papercrafts..which the theme this week is *one for the girls* I'm also entering my card into this weeks Papertake weekly challenge *in Stitches*

I have used the new cappella paper pad by basic grey which is assolutley delish..and stitched onto some bazzil card..i have used this gawjuss stamp dancing willow from Whiff of Joy Stamps and coloured her in using distress inks...the flowers are from wildorchid crafts..pearls are from the The Hobby House and the pins from Quixotic Paperie... pink ribbon i got from hobbycraft..

Hiya all..hope is all well...my card that i want to show you today is for A Gem of a Challenge in which we had to use the colours Burgundy Pink & Green....

I have used the new Chloe and Kitten Stamp from Pink Gem Design's and coloured in using pro-markers..I have stitched the DP papers onto burgundy card stock..the ticket sentiment is also from Pink Gem Design's...

I have stamped them both on to 300dpi card stock with memento Rich Cocoa...the flowers have been glimmer misted and there from Wildorchid Crafts..papers are the new Hampstead by Papermania...

Hiya all..hope is all well..my card today is for Passion for Promarkers Challenge and this week its strawberry's & cream..

I have used kraft card for the base of the card..and I have used these lovely digi papers from Nitwit Collections *Strawberry Social*

I chose the Digi Stamp Emma in the Strawberry Patch from Fredshesaid and of course i have used my pro-markers to colour her in...The flowers are Wildorchid Crafts..embellished with a strawberry charm that i happened to have in my stash box...I could not resist doing the candle to match..lol..I'm a little addicted to doing these at the moment..carn't help myself..

Totally Paper Craft Stitching

Hiya there..hope is all well..neally the weekend again..yippeee..they sure come round pretty quick..lol..this week at Totally Paper Crafts they want to see some stitching....it can be real or faux..the choice is yours...

and this is my take on the challenge..I have used magnolia paper and stitched on to some bazzil card stock..for the Image I have used this pretty Digi Stamp from Spesch Designs..don't you think she's adorable.. she will also be availible to buy as a clear stamp soon...

I have used my pro-markers to colour her in...the roses are Wildorchild crafts..and the larger flower that you see is handmade from the talented Michele Roos..if you have a moment pop on over to michele's blog to see her beautiful flowers that she makes...

DigiStamp Boutique Monthly Compertition

Good morning to you all hope is all well..the weekend seemed to just come and go..and its another start of the week..don't know were the days go..lol..its nearing the time when my son shall be leaving school shortly..and will be on study leave for his final exams..gosh it don't seem five minutes since he started senior school..lol..

anyway on to my card that i made for the DigiStamp Boutique May Compertion...I love these sort of compertition's because you have until the end of the month to submit a card using of course the DigiStamp Boutique's stamps..and I chose cute Martha..she's just so adorable...

I printed out the DP papers from Funky Hand Dreams come True CD...onto 300Dpi card stock..and I used the scolloped nestties to make the card base...Printed and coloured in Martha using pro-markers...I put the card together using a crop-o-dile tool and eyelets and attatched with some ribbon..cut out some punch flowers and attatched some pearls into the centre..

Hiya all and what a lovely saturday afternoon it is...Its another week of challenges over at Just Magnolia and this week its anything goes....well no card this time I decided to put longing Tilda from the special collection onto a candle..

Heres what i did!!

she was stamped onto tissue paper and coloured in using pro-markers..I then transfered her on to the candle using wax paper and a heat gun...added some sparkle to her bow in her hair using stickle glue..i got the ticket sentiment - special friend from Pink Gem Designs..she is know ready to give as a gift...

The papers that I have used are from the Basic Grey range - Pink Lemonade and I chose this little cute Digi Stamp which is a brand new release Critters & Cogs available from Pollycraft

He as been coloured in using promarkers..I made the stars using software on my computer..and the sentiment is from Elyzbells Art Stamps...the buttons were blue so I coloured them in with a promarker to match my card theme..

Second post from me today..I must be on a roll.lol..my card is for the Magnolia Down Under Challenge..which they wanted to see some stitching..well heres my try...

I'm not very good when it comes to stitching but i gave it ago..I think sewing machines don't like me very much..lol..anyways i made my card up using Kraft card and followed Leann's tutorial HERE to make a folded card..The DP papers are K & Co...

I used the lovely new magnolia Prom Qween Tilda that i got from the NEC...she's just adorable..I coloured her in using Distress Inks..and added sparkles to her shoes,gloves and Tiara..shes all glammed up ready for the party...

Ticket sentiment I got from Pink Gem Design's and was stamped on Kraft card..attached to the ribbon along with a heart charm that i bought from eBay...

Just Magnolia Challenge Easel Card

Hello all..hope you are all well...Its another week of challenges over at Just Magnolia Challenge and this week they would like to see some Easel cards..just as well because i just love making this style of card..

I stamped my Tilda using versafine ink onto Winsor & Newton water colour paper 300gsm and used the new Tim Holz Distress Inks to colour her in.. these colours are delish..I'm enjoying trying them out at the moment..i do love using them with the magnolia stamps..

I used Kraftcard to make my Tent card..to join the card together I used the Crop-o-Dile Tool..this is an amazing little gadget..its so easy to use..I have glimmer misted the flowers..I printed the sentiment on the computer and just cut it out with one of the nesties..and know all I have to do is make a box for it and it's ready for my mom on mothers day...

For my card I decided to use this fabby Digi Stamp from SoftPencil..she's adorable..think she's sprinkling some magic fairy dust on to the flower there...I used some colourcore card stock.. this is amazing along with some milton & Co papers..so very pretty..I made the flower using different sized punch's then distressed the edges..hope you like...

Stamps & Smiles Project Tuesday - CD Case

Good evening to you all..hope your all well..Its yet another week over at Stamps and Smiles Project Tuesday..how the weeks fly by..were as January gone..This week we were challenged to make a CD case..well I sure had fun with this project..so easy yet it took me ages to get it right..lol..I,m deffinatley going to give this one another try..lovely gift Idea..

This is the front of my CD case..I have used some ribbon around the middle..and used one of my favourite stamps from Pink Gem Designs..I have coloured her in using promarkers and I have also added some stickles to her wings...I have kept this quite simple..

Heres a picture of the back of the CD case and what better a CD to put inside..the lovely new funkyhand CD -Dreams come True..

Evening all..second post for me today..must be on a role..lol..think we may have seen the last of the snow..at long last it does make you feel a little down seeing it all the while..well it does me..lol..bring on the summer thats what I say..

I have something different this evening to show you..and its not a card for a change..I have been trying my hand at stamping on candles..and think its turned out quite well... I have coloured my image using promarkers and fits in well the colour scheme over at Passion for Promarkers Challenge...in which we had to use Cool Aqua & Cocoa..lovely colour combination..

Hiya all well me and my daughter had a lovely day at the NEC on saturday it was a bit scramed to say the least...I managed to find the Magnolia stand it was fab..I didn't realise that Bev and Marcea were demoing on there as there were lots of people around :O( wished i'd have hung around know to meet them..also missed the lovely talented Tab demoing on there to..there were just so many people.. i did come back with a few crafty bits and managed to get me hands on some of that lovely glimmer mist....anyway my card today is for the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and wanted to see some Easel cards..I love this type of card there great and so different..
